Here's the proof. National research has shown that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives. By participating in our programs, Little Brothers and Sisters are:

  • more confident in their schoolwork performance
  • able to get along better with their families
  • 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
  • 27% less likely to begin using alcohol
  • 52% less likely to skip school

  • 92% of our “Littles” receives Public Assistance;
  • 90% of our “Littles” live in Poverty;
  • 71% of our “Littles” live in Single-Parent Households;
  • 37% of our “Littles” have a Parent who is Incarcerated;
  • 44.1% of our “Littles” are African-American;
  • 37.4 of our “Littles” are Caucasian;
  • 15.2% of our “Littles” are Multi-Racial;
  • 3.3% of our “Littles” are Hispanic.
